In order to fully solve your problems, we thoroughly learn how your business works, so that we can intervene at the root causes of inefficiencies or directly suggest changes.
Every one has their own specificities. We always do our best to adapt to our clients requests, both technical and personal, in a way that makes them feel comfortable while transforming their businesses with our work.
The hype for the latest technology does not imply you should use it for your project. The real goal is to solve real problems with the right set of tools and not being charmed by the most popular market trends.
Not all requirements are meant to be implemented: some choices might not be the best, others might be useless or dangerous; sometimes, you might actually not even need software. In such cases, the best thing for both parties is letting it go.
From negotiation to delivery, we strive to complete each step of our projects in the quickest way possible. The more time is spared during a collaboration, the faster the project can be released, and the more freedom we have to refine and optimize what has already been developed.
We take work really seriously, but we're not heartless machines (we only develop them). We always relate with people we work with in a friendly and frank manner, striving to keep the collaboration environment positive and constructive.
If you want to contact us, please consult our frequently asked questions.
The development cost of any custom software product obviously depends on its overall complexity, given its requirements, risks and specificity. The most important thing is to be sure what to expect from it. If you are not that sure yet, you can ask for our consulting or feasibility study services.
Our projects always involve the development phase and the following continuative assistance, update and maintenance phase. The latter has indefinite duration and is tacitly renewed yearly, unless you request to interrupt the collaboration.
Infrastructure and deployment choices heavily depend on the specific project. We often rely on cloud platforms with on-demand, managed components, but for some minor products we might choose simpler solutions like Virtual Private Servers (VPSs). In most cases, live infrastructure costs are not included in our pricing for the requested work: what is instead included is the set of services regarding deployment, update and configuration operations required for the software execution.
No. Quite Simple will only be responsible for the technical aspect of the product, but will provide all necessary tools and assistance to let you easily and autonomously manage your own business content on the website.
We ask for a down payment at the beginning of the work. Then, depending on the estimated duration of the proposed work, we might either charge monthly amounts until the end of the development for longer projects, or directly ask for settlement of the remaining amount for smaller ones. Billing cycles for the second phase also vary on the project size: we usually prefer yearly billing for smaller projects and 3-monthly billing otherwise.
We are open to new business opportunities when we see real potential. Nevertheless, quality software development requires time and effort. If you really intend to embark on your entrepreneurship journey, you should very seriously evaluate the resources you have before starting anything.
The choice is yours to make. In any case, you will be the owner of all data and artifacts generated within the lifetime of the software. Be also aware that explicitly requesting the developed software to be of your property will necessarily require using your own infrastructure and paying its live costs, even for smaller projects.
All data and artifacts generated within the lifetime of the software will be returned to you in order to grant continuity in migrating your work towards a new provider; we will also be available to help the third party in the process. Depending on the deal, the source code will either be given to you or remain property of ours.
Small changes or additional details are tolerated. Any other request which was not considered at deal signing or might heavily impact the initial project definition or development time (such as new macro-features or a great quantity of minor business or UI requirements) will be considered as a new project.
Such a scenario is highly unlikely and should be avoided through initial project analysis. If this happens, we will work with you to understand the need for your request. If the situation proves unavoidable, we will restructure (or end) the working relationship, applying appropriate safeguards for ourselves.
We do not directly offer those services, but we team-up with trusted professionals who can be integrated into your project, creating an all-around collaboration.
